Current Projects
- The Altiplano Acid Mine Drainage Initiative

- STATUS - Stage 1: funded; Stage 2, 3: not funded
- TERRA will educate Bolivians on AMD impacts, build a low-cost remediation system and replicate the system in willing towns.
- Chaquiri - Ferrocement Water Tanks and Water Distribution Network

- STATUS: Nearly Completed
- TERRA has built a ferrocement water storage tank and water network for 25 families.
- Capiri - Irrigation Well and Soil Management

- STATUS: Nearly Completed
- TERRA has drilled a 260 foot irrigation well.
- Titiri - Latrine Project

- STATUS - seeking funds
- Titiri, currently has no bathrooms. Help improve sanitation conditions by funding low-cost, compost latrines.
- Venta y Media - Spring Capture and Storage

- STATUS - seeking funds
- Residents use water from a contaminated river. Help Improve access to clean water by capturing artesian spring water.
- Quime - Experimental Tree Farm and Nursery

- STATUS - seeking funds
- Help diversify the economy, improve tree management and increase student involvment in environmental stewardship.
2006 Completed Projects
- Chiquipata Baja - Well drilling

- STATUS - completed
- Chiquipata residents were ecstatic when a high-yield, artesian aquifer was tapped 47 meters below the surface.
- Cobremayo - Latrine Construction

- STATUS - completed
- TERRA and a Peace Corps volunteer are builing dry latrines in a town with no bathrooms, improving sanitation and health.
- Jankusaya- Well Drilling and Wind Turbine Pump

- STATUS - completed
- TERRA, Save the Children and Jankusaya collaborated to drill a 57 meter well to provide clean dirinkin and irrigation water.
- Oruro - Greenhouse Project

- STATUS - construction completed; project ongoing
- TERRA and a teacher-training University built a greenhouse to train rural teachers in environmental education.
- Sewenkani - Computers for Remote Education

- STATUS - completed
- The community of Sewenkani sold a herd of sheep to buy computers for their school.
