Zack Guido

Zack co-founded Terra in 2005 to improve water access for rural Bolivian Communities. For Terra, Zack specializes in fundraising, grant writing, and directing projects in Bolivia.

Zack brings to Terra 8 years of experience working in Bolivia in rural development, three as a Peach Corps volunteer between 2001 and 2003.

Zack received a Masters degree in Geology in 2005 from the University of Colorado. At CU, Zack conducted quantitative research on past climate changes, publishing his research in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

In 2006, Zack worked for the water resource consultants Errol. L. Montgomery and Associates in Tucson, Arizona. At Montgomery, Zack analyzed subsurface water resources and oversaw the construction of high-volume production wells and monitor wells in Chile, Arizona, and Nevada.

In addition to directing projects for Terra, Zack works at the University of Arizona as a research scientist for the Climate Assessment for the Southwest (CLIMAS). Zack works with government agencies, industry leaders, and other stakeholders, providing them with salient climate information that improves their decisions. Zack also writes extensively about climate change and its impact on people in the Southwest U.S.
